We are pleased to announce that our journal, formerly known as Evidence-based Psychiatric Care, has officially changed its name to the Italian Journal of Psychiatry.
The Italian Journal of Psychiatry aims to become a reliable national and international point of reference for sharing knowledge in the psychiatric field, in the areas of basic, clinical and translational research, as well as healthcare practice, with specific attention to studies in the field of clinical psychiatry and treatment of mental disorders, enhancing the translational feature of the discipline.
As the official journal of the Italian Society of Psychiatry, the journal aims to provide for ita members an opportunity to participate in international psychiatric debates, through the publication of updated content in the form of original articles, reviews, case reports.
The editorial office will work to ensure a widespread diffusion of the journal in the indexing services and in the main scientific databases.
The Italian Journal of Psychiatry can be found on the website www.italianjournalofpsychiatry.it and can be immediately read online, thanks to the choice of publishing the articles in open access, in line with the values of free access to knowledge by the entire community.
